That’s why our Extended Warranty Package is designed to help protect you against the cost of unexpected mechanical and electrical failures — helping to keep you on the road with confidence.
With an AA Warranty policy, you can benefit from comprehensive levels of cover, a straightforward claims process, and support from a highly respected national provider. Designed to offer reassurance similar to the protection supplied when the vehicle was new, AA Warranty cover helps safeguard you against unforeseen repair costs, giving you greater confidence and peace of mind throughout your ownership experience.
Used Vehicle Warranty
We provide a minimum of 3 months’ warranty on all of our used vehicles. Upon vehicle purchase, you will have the option to extend this further. Various cover levels are also available to suit your needs and are listed below.

Protect Lite Plus: Protection against most electrical and mechanical components
Protect Essential: Keep vehicle ownership stress-free with our standard cover

If the failed part is covered, our warranty will pay out for the costs of parts, labour and VAT for repairing or replacing it, up to the claim limit outlined on your warranty documentation.
Free breakdown cover
Purchase an AA warranty and you’ll be eligible for free Basic Breakdown Cover if the vehicle you own is being used for personal use only. We have exclusive offers on upgrade to a higher level of cover, for new and existing AA members. T&C’s apply.

An email and reference code to activate your 12 months’ free Basic Breakdown Cover will be sent to you shortly after your vehicle warranty commences.
