The Burton Hunter Trail 2019

Just Audi VW was proud to support another year of The Burton Hunter Trial at Hackthorn Hall that was held on Sunday 22nd September. Set in the heart of Lincolnshire, Hackthorn Estate has a history stretching back hundreds of years. An 18th-century Hall that captures the charm and tradition of a historic building surrounded by beautiful formal gardens and landscaped parkland and located just 5 miles from Lincoln.

The organisers and helpers of The Burton Hunter Trial strived to create a fun, friendly course with children's classes and a riding club standard novice and intermediate, there was something for everyone.

Following the success of last year, they once again ran the  Gate Jumping Competition  in the Main Ring. Nobody at the event was put off by the 'professionals'. This year they only allowed entries from riders who had NOT won a gate jumping competition three or more times. The event aimed to jump as many gates as possible, building up in height with a forfeit that if you hit a gate you removed a piece of clothing, the winner would be the person which jumped the highest with the most clothes still on.

The organisers of The Hunter Trail has this year included serveral qualifying events, for the finals of the 2019 National Hunter Trail Championships held at Eland Lodge in Derbyshire.

We had our stickers on vehicles dotted around the course showing our support. This event couldn't have gone ahead without the participants. On that note, we would like we would like to congratulate Holly Castledine, Phoebe Lyle and Freya Warren, Kathryn Riddle, Katy Havercroft, Alice Holborrow, Tiger Urry, Lottie Warham and Izzy for winning their class.

We look forward to next years event.
