New Just Audi VW Showroom Coming In 2017

'Just' the job as dealership invests £1m to create 20 jobs moving next door.

Twenty new jobs will be created as part of a £1 million expansion by a leading motor dealership in Lincoln.

Commerce House in Outer Circle Road - the former home of Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce - will be demolished to make way for a new Just Audi VW showroom and 10-bay workshop.

The business currently operates next-door and, subject to planning permission being granted by City of Lincoln Council, the new building could be open by August next year.

A design and access statement has been drawn up by local firm Saxby Designs and Just Audi's parent company, Just Automotive Solutions Ltd, is investing more than seven figures in the purpose-built facility after negotiations lasting more than a year.

Just managing director Adrian Morvinson said: "We have a two-acre site on Outer Circle Road and we purchased the Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce building to allow them to relocate next-door to a state-of-the-art office building, formerly United House.

"We enjoyed our fifth birthday in July this year and have grown to be the UK's largest independent Audi VW specialist.

"As we're selling on average 120 vehicles every month with a six-bay workshop, we have outgrown our current showroom and workshops.

"So we've submitted plans to the council and are hoping to start the development in February 2017 with a six-month building programme.

"And we'll be looking to employ another 20 staff to add to our team of 35."

Other developments in the group include a development plan for Just Bodyworks based on Lincoln's Bishops Road.

The blueprint, again subject to planning consent, will be to double the size of the operation by expanding into an adjacent unit to provide more space for body repairs to sales cars and alloy wheel refurbishment.

The dealership has also just set up Just Asset Finance Ltd - which will be based in their new building to offer customers competitive funding options.

And the 2017 opening of the new Outer Circle Road building will allow the development of Just Land Rover Jaguar, with the team responsible for the stock of 50-plus Land Rovers currently on view moving back into the existing premises in 2018 when all the redevelopment has been completed.

Mr Morvinson said: "The focus on the Land Rover brand has been due to the large local demand for used Land Rovers as the main dealers do not sell used vehicles with more than 50,000 miles 'on the clock'. We currently have a fully trained Land Rover technician and will be looking to grow the team.

"All in all, 2017 is going to be a busy year for Just Automotive Solutions Ltd and will represents an investment in this development of more than £1 million to give us a three-acre site stocking more than 180 cars.
