Just Audi VW spent Wednesday testing their TT race car and 2 track day cars at Blyton Park race track.

The 2 Mk1 TT Quattro track cars have been built and developed by Jon Smith who is part of our Just Audi VW Team.

Jon has been with the company for 5 years, having initially started with sales before moving to our technical side where his passion really is. Jon spent 3 year with our workshop before moving over the body shop to help start up and expand that part of our business.

Some of the work carried out to date by Jon are Full high flow downpipes,exhaust manifold,scorpion exhaust,new Garrertt turbo,Powerflex,anti role bars,HNR coil overs, braded brake hoses, airtech inter coolers, JS performance hoses,forge diverter valves, KN air filters along with engine rebuilds.

Paul at P K Motorsport part of PK Automotive has completed the package with re-mapping and testing on his rolling road .They are now running at circa 280 BHP and are a great balanced drive.There is a bit more work to do on the brakes and tyre side now we have got them running right.

The idea was to give its first test since we have had it. It was a good job as there are a few things that need sorting, fuel leak etc. Once we have finished some more test days we are looking to run the car in a VAG series next year.

If any of you VW Audi fans want a good local day out the Bilstein classic VW cup comes to Cadwell park on the 13^th  and 14^th May. Just Audi VW are hoping to support this with one of our track cars being used as the safety car for the weekend.
