Just Audi VW 3 Peaks Challenge
On the 2nd of June 2018 a group of our team will be heading to Yorkshire to take on the Yorkshire 3 Peak Challenge.
The Yorkshire Three Peaks route is 24 miles (38.6km), and includes 1585m (5200ft) of ascent. The Challenge takes on the peaks of Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough, usually in this order, and in under 12 hours. These peaks form part of the Pennine range, and encircle the head of the valley of the River Ribble, in the Yorkshire Dales National Park.
Starting the Yorkshire Three Peaks from Horton-in-Ribblesdale, and walking in the traditional counterclockwise direction, Pen-y-Ghent is the first peak to be ascended followed by Whernside and finally Ingleborough.
Our team are raising funds and awareness for St Barnabas Hospice which is a local independent charity.
Every year they support more than 9,000 people across Lincolnshire with a life limiting or terminal condition. They deliver free, high-quality, compassionate end-of-life care and support to patients, their families and carers. Their aim is to enable them to live as fully as they can for however many days, weeks or months they have left. They are reliant on the financial support our community provides so that they can be there for more patients, their families and carers, every day of the year.
